Through our body we can reconnect with presence, vitality and flow.
Calm your monkey mind and get moving.
Obvious benefits of a movement or fitness practice include better health, energy, and weight management.
But what about my ‘monkey mind’?
Distractions, attachments, anxiety, worry, and space-cadet status all fit into this category. We’ve all been there – yet there’s a tangible, often overlooked solution.
We can begin to tame and thus witness our thoughts through a consistent, focused movement practice.
Through movement, we train our minds to work with us and for us.
We harness our own potential, creativity, and ownership of our health and life through clarity of intent and thought.
Bottom line, you gotta plug your brain power into your body in order to see real change.
If you’ ve “been there, done that” in terms of fitness fads and programs, I have a new approach for you.
Rather than hitting the treadmill with a netflix binge, what would happen if you actually paid attention?
What if you knew how to quickly make your workout more effective, safer, and actually feel really good?
Rather than feeling separate or disconnected mind and body, or the mind bossing your body around all day – you become embodied. Good posture feels effortless, you breathe and smile more often, and your energy soars.
Your health and fitness isn’t neatly compartmentalized, separate from your career, family, community. Satisfaction in these areas of life depends on your embodied fitness.
My work in the fitness industry gave me the physiology and exercise science background to be able to advise you well whether you’re just getting started or training for a marathon – and my therapeutic approach through Yoga and Franklin Method addresses your immediate needs (relax shoulder and neck tension, unclench your jaw, and open up your breathing in minutes) and long term healing and health.
We’re talking next-level mindbody clarity, vibrant health and embodied fitness.
But, it has, for the better. I’m happy that I can see change happening and looking at how long I’d been sliding off the rails, I’m impressed by how quickly things have begun turning around.
I know my body so much better now since studying with you. I feel a state of flow, beingness, grounding far more often now than ever before. Working with you over the last 6 months or so has helped me put the focus back on my health and the fact that I’m the only person responsible for my health.”

“I’ve been working with Cheri on and off for the past four years and no matter how long it has been since our last session, it is like no time has passed at all. She continues to help me through some pretty pivotal changes in my life whether it be physical, personal or work-related – and that’s what I love! My sessions are tailored to me, my life, and my needs.
One of the first things I learned about Cheri is that when I’m talking, she’s listening and is focused on me and only me. She responds thoughtfully and in a way that really rings true to me where I find her words speaking to me throughout the day when I need it most.”

“By using imagery, I’m understanding and starting to feel my organs. I have never been so grounded or relaxed in my life! The most profound change I’m experiencing is my new ability to truly relax and be myself.”
